We are going to build on what we’ve learned before in our first three lessons as we focus our attention here on how to find the star constellation known as Hercules during the Summer months of the Northern Hemisphere.
Because we’ve gotten some practice in our first three lessons in identifying the constellations of Scorpio, Aquila and the more challenging Ophiuchus from our last lesson, we are going to use that knowledge now to help us find Hercules. Because like Ophiuchus, the constellation of Hercules can be a bit more of a challenge to find, but by the end of the video below, you should have a much easier time locating Hercules high in the Summer night sky.
Much of the information found in this video lesson comes from our book series, Constellations by Campfire: The Easy and Naked Eye Way – Summer Season – Northern Hemisphere. You can find the paperback version here and if you are looking for the Fall Season paperback version, you can find that here.
Get to know Hercules a little better in this lesson, he’s a bit of a challenge, but we know you can handle it 🙂
Until next time…stay lit & be well,
shannon
