How to see stars Virgo and Libra - Spring Constellations - Northern Hemisphere - starsnearme.com

Welcome back everyone.

In this lesson we are going to learn how to find the star constellations of Virgo The Virgin and Libra The Scales in the Springtime Northern Hemisphere sky.

If you’ve been following along since last Summer when we first began our free course in Alternative Astronomy where we are learning to identify the star constellations easily, you will notice that we are almost right back around in our journey to where we began.

Virgo The Virgin and Libra The Scales are the last two constellations of the 12 zodiac constellations we have yet to identify traveling along the arc of the ecliptic.

Virgo and Libra can be seen throughout the month of June in the Northern Hemisphere taking center stage, just after sunset, in the middle of what we call The Real Oracle or The Real All-Seeing Eye in the sky.

We are looking at an image of what is going on the sky story starting with June 1st, the hour after the sun sets.

Notice first, that the constellations we have learned about earlier in the Spring have since moved further to the West from where we last found them to be (Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Hydra, for examples). If you need to catch up on any of those previous lessons, you can visit our Table of Contents page by clicking here.

Taking center stage throughout the month of June in the Northern Hemisphere sky we will find Virgo The Virgin, first.

Learn To Find Star Constellation Virgo

Facing South and looking up, we will find Virgo just to the West side of the special cross of the North-South Meridian Line and the arc of the ecliptic.

Virgo is a large constellation that is easy to find, if you first look for Virgo’s brightest star called Spica.  Spica, as you can see on the image is located right at Virgo’s hip.

You can pinpoint Virgo’s location easily now that you have already learned in previous lessons how to identify Leo, which is found on Virgo’s West side.

The very bright star called Arcturus in the constellation of Bootes is sitting higher in the sky above Virgo’s location (see image above).  Since we’ve already learned how to identify Bootes in a previous lesson, you will be able to tell the difference between Bootes and Virgo when looking into the June sky.

Learn To Find Star Constellation Libra

Our previous star knowledge makes finding Libra, our last of the 12 constellations of the zodiac to identify, an easier task.

Look to the East (your left when looking up) of Virgo for the diamond shaped constellation of Libra The Scales.

The stars of Libra do not appear very large, but they are plenty bright enough to find.  If you run into the claws of Scorpio, further to the East (your left), then you will know you will have moved your eyes too far Eastward, as you can see by the image above that Libra sits at the end of the claws of Scorpio.

What’s Next In Our Alternative Astronomy Journey

Together?

We have gone all the way around the Real Oracle or The Real All-Seeing Eye in the sky, learning the star constellations of the Northern Hemisphere sky this past year, but there is so much more for us to learn about how the world really works and how that connects to every famous story you’ve ever known and we’ve barely just scratched the surface with that.

The 2022 Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere (Winter Solstice if you are under Southern Hemisphere skies) is going to be a REALLY BIG DEAL.

We’ve done a few lessons on this already linked here and here

for you to take a look at, if you haven’t already.  This information is so important due to everything is connects to, that even if you are seeing this after the Summer Solstice of 2022, you should still check it out.

Some of the information in this lesson comes from our book series Constellations by Campfire.  This is a series of books we created to help even the beginning stargazer be able to identify the star constellations by season of the year.  The books have full page star maps and easy instruction.  You can find more about Constellations by Campfire by clicking here.

An email to us is how to begin the conversation about access to our advanced, private videos.  These videos are for the advanced truth seeker only, and will show you our own completely original research and discoveries about how the world really works completely uncensored.  We know you’ve never seen these 2 huge pieces of the puzzle presented by any other researcher, professional or amateur.

There is much more to come, but for now step outside tonight and see if you can identify Virgo and Libra in the sky from where you are.
