Hi there and glad you’re here with us to see what’s up in the night sky using nothing more than some knowledge for your mind and your naked eyes.
What’s up in the night sky during this first week of November 2021 is the subject of the next video in our free video course in Alternative Astronomy.
Over the Summer and Fall months, we have been learning how to identify the star constellations of the Northern Hemisphere skies and this will be the first piece we will be looking at the cycles of the planets.
We will look at three planets or what are often called “Wandering Stars” in Jupiter, Saturn and Venus and find out how to find them in the night sky during the first week of November 2021.
We will also take a look at the phenomenon of Daylight Saving Time from the perspective of what is happening in the sky story as a result of rolling our clocks back one hour during the first week of November every year, in a way you’ve likely never seen or thought of before.
Take a look at the video lesson for some heavenly treats to see starting from Halloween this year to the end of the first week of November.
Some of the information from the video lesson comes from our book series, Constellations by Campfire: The Easy and Naked Eye Way. This is a series of books to learn the star constellations of the Northern Hemisphere sky by season of the year. You can get your e-book copies in our shop by clicking here
or paperback versions by clicking here.
Until next time…stay lit and be well,
