What is the Mind Your Own Bee’s Knees Series?
We started the Mind Your Own Bee’s Knees Series here at starsnearme.com as a way to share the process of creating and growing our online business.
Now right off the rip, I should tell you that if you aren’t a fan of clever and often funny puns, then mmm…mmm…mmm are you really going to hate this series.
I admit that I wasn’t exactly a fan of the idea of creating an online business, at first. This was for many reasons, but I quickly realized that I had to.
I had to because we made some potentially world changing discoveries and world changing discoveries like these are just too big not to be shared.
I realized that sharing the discoveries we made was a big part of my own purpose and whether I wanted to or not, I knew I had build an online business around sharing those discoveries. There was just no getting around it.
Why was I so hesitant to build an online business around sharing these discoveries?
Because we all know that the end goal of building any kind of business is for that business to make money, right? So that means for me that we will be tying my purpose together with whether or not I can build and grow a successful business. In other words, if the business can make money and that sounded like a whole lot of pressure to me without much fun.
Especially when I know full well going in that most people who attempt to make any kind of business successful (in terms of making money) fail at it. Most fail miserably.
That’s where the overwhelming power of purpose kicks in. At least it did for me, because here I am, starting the Mind Your Own Bee’s Knees series with it’s own new YouTube channel to keep and share a journal of this part of the building and growing an online business process from scratch.
Our first YouTube channel we launched just 6 weeks ago at the time of this writing and focuses on sharing just one of the enormous discoveries we made there, but the Mind Your Own Bee’s Knees series channel has just launched today. (August 3, 2021)
Why Did We Create 2 YouTube Channels for 1 Website?
Well, you know that one guy that you hear online content creators talk about trying to make happy all the time, even though no one has ever met him? You know…Al. Al Gorithm. Yep, him.
You see Al seems to get confused on social media channels particularly if you mix too many topics that you share content about all on the same channel. Then Al won’t do the best job in sharing your content, so this affects the amount of people that can be reached with your content at all.
So if your content is important to you and especially if it is important to the world, then keeping your content clear for Al to share to as many as we can get is an important consideration to keep in mind.
The funniest thing to me about all of this is that I know that if we actually lived in a sane world, the discoveries that we just recently made and have started sharing would already be common knowledge and none of this would even be necessary. Not the website, not the 2 YouTube channels, none of it.
Since that is not the world we live in, this process is necessary and I will keep the best attitude and humor in all of this because there is a lot about the process that is sweet, but a whole lot of it stings.
Why Are We Sharing Our Journal About Starting and Growing An Online Business From Scratch With You?
Because you don’t often see a start from scratch, all organic, all d.i.y. build your online business process being shared in the way we’re doing it. We are doing this honestly, knowing it will take quite awhile until we will achieve our goals. This is a big contrast to many of the “oh this is so easy, anyone can do it and do it fast” message out there. We know going in this whole process takes time and there’s no getting around putting in the real work.
